Hello, finishing up floor repalcement and ordered new backtoback seats. I had planned on glassing the seat frame to the floor, however, the frame is a plastic. Will epoxy resin adhere to plastic? Am I better or screwing the frame to the floor in this case?

Thanks.

Epoxy will adhere to the plastic bases, just make sure you rough them up with some 60-80 grit sandpaper first to "degloss" them for good adhesion. Epoxy is a glue as much as it is a part of fiberglass, so it will bond with just about anything regular epoxy would.

some plastics won't work with any glue, polypropalene is one (plastic margarine tubs, white cutting boards) and they have to be plastic welded.
Plastic kayaks can't be glassed or glued, same stuff. Test it.
