. . . my arse!!! LadyFish, of course, can choose whether or not to contribute here. Yes, Mrs. QC is blonde . . .
I lost my wedding ring tubing on Lake Mead 20 years ago. I have been apologizing for it ever since even though I know exactly where it is
Then there is Mrs. QC . . .
She loses jewelry that I buy her like it is nothing. Diamond necklace? Turned in with a leased car . . . Diamond earrings? Well she still has one of them. Plus she loses car keys, cash, wallets, credit cards, license, more cash . . . And each and every time I have to console her . . .
What the flip is that? I lose stuff, I have to apologize, grovel, suck up, whatever. She loses stuff, I have to make her feel better, say I am sorry she lost it . . no . . . wait . . . I am sorry that it disappeared from your own house and how could that happen to you and why? I also can't suggest that she should put that stuff in a safe place etc.
Then there was this weekend. She lost a ring I had made for her with three diamonds, one for each boy. Annnnnd a ring she borrowed from a friend. Also a diamond. She had me question the boy's friends . . . cried, I had to console her even though I wanted to strangle her etc. . . . What kind of equal justice is that? I want to kill her, but I have to hug her and tell her that I am sorry that the rings are gone . . . God forbid I say "sorry you lost your rings" . . . That would indicate responsibility somehow lies with her
WTF?
