Newbie here. I'm shopping for a new boat. Never fished with anything bigger than a 12' aluminum. Looking for an 18' with a 90 hp outboard. What should I consider as necessary equipment safety & comfort wise. Freshwater only. Trailering to many different lakes.

The information For required safety equipment should be in the coast guards safe boating manual, depending on size of vessel.
pdf for each person, fire extinguisher, bailing bucket, floating rope, whistel ETC
on the comfort side , just read through the posts here for great ideas.
