eska 5hp ignition promblems

hey guys just bought a eska 5hp motor and when i pull the cord about every three pulls i get a weak spark and the other pulls nothing i toook the the fly wheel off and clean the magnets with a wire brush and still the same promblem any suggestions?

I'll save the real experts the effort, and tell you that you should post you model #. They'll want to know if you have points, or one of those Tecumseh solid state ignitions that are renowned for early failure. When you had the flywheel off, was there one of those points compartments with an aluminum cover, retained by a spring bail/clip, or some black plastic mystery part on the stator plate? To find the model #, pop the cowl off, and look on the lower cowl, left side as you face the engine from the front. It'll start with 217.xxxxxx.

and by the way there is a third magnet in the SSI flywheel so be sure to use your old flywheel
