Had the opportunity to troubleshoot one of these . After a somewhat short run10 minutes it would go into guardian mode. Fuel filters looked good, block temps good. good flow from the pisser, Not fuel related. Found the ecm clogged shut with a white powdery substance.
Could not even blow air thru it. ecm overheated and went into Guardian resembling a low fuel condition.
Added water, a few sprays of Free-All and a flexible plastic cable? to clean out the ecm. Water test has the ecm running cool again and performing well.
So, check your cooling water flow on the engine but also feel the ecm for a very warm temp and check its cooling flow if abnormally hot.
