Here's a potential issue related to the fuel that I simply can not get an answer for. My Suzuki DF 140's are warranteed to run with an ethanol mix of up to 10%. Anything over that and you are on your own. My understanding is that there are higher mixes of 12-13% Now throw in the fact that NJ is not requiring suppliers to reveal the mix % to the retailers....In speaking to my mechanic this weekend he said that if there is a warranty issue with my engines, and it looks like fuel may have played a part, they will take a fuel sample before honoring the warranty. If it shows higher that 10%, there;s a good chance I'm outta luck, even though there is no way for me to know! Suzi has made no statements covering this. Hope there's no bullet in that chamber!!
