Hi! I am currently restoring a glastron skiflite V-142, that has some strange features. The front edge of the splashwell is flush with the deck, but all the sales pictures in classicglastron site show a not-so-seagoing well with the front edge open. My boat is similar to THIS ONE. The windshield is not the same as U.S. models. Note, that the speedo also has a metric scale. Are these boats made in USA for the european market, or could they be licence manufactured here? Classicglastron guys might just have the answer, but I can't stand their god stuff, that has nothing to do with these boats. I'm located in Finland, and so is the boat shown in the photos.

This would be a good one for the Boat Topics and Questions (non engine topics) forum, where I will move it now.

Welcome aboard CH.

it looks as if someone has modified the transom to accept a short shaft engine. the aluminum trim was originally riveted with alum rivets, around the motor well there are rusted screws. i wonder if the glassed over the area they cut.
