Good Evening all on the forum,I have a 21 foot long dep vee cabin boat / fishingt boat. fitted with a Evenrude 225 vro motor. The motor is in good condition, but the propellor isok a few small chips, good but unfortunately I cannot find any markings on the propellor regarding size and pitch, I can measure the outside diameter of the prop but the pitch has me beat. I cannot find the pitch markings anywhere on the propellor, I have not taken the prop off the motor yet, but I doubt that there would be any markings on the inside of the hub. This particular boat weighs all up at 2465lbs (1120 kgs) and all seems good, it hits the right revs at the right time, is quick to get onto the plane etc.. but what propellor is fitted or what would the base line propellor specifications be. for a standard off the shelf, come with motor unit,I would like to buy a new propellor as well as a 4 blade propellor but I have no Idea as how to get the specs of the existing propellor. kind regards William Wright

Before we jump to anything else, remove the nut and washer, remove the prop and look very closely at the area "just" outside where the washer set...the numbers should be right there...they may be small....
