ever seen this before ??

The water deflector has swollen and pushed out the head gasket causing water to leak into the bottom piston. Already took head to local M-shop to be milled flat. Yeah it warped the head. Can I just shave it off to be even with the cylinder?

Looks like one with a plastic insert that has melted and expanded.
You need to remove the all, clean up properly and install new.

On a budget here, you sure I can't just shave it off even? Already replaced T-stat and complete water pump.

I don't believe that's a plastic insert but a piece of rubber hose. Pull out the old deflectors and clean up the the block properly and install new ones. These deflectors are critical to cooling the mtr properly
