We pretty much Missed the storm up here,....... It went mostly South of here.....

The Weather Girl said this morning that it's going to be Above Freezing this weekend,............

Got about 3" of ice in my yard and driveway and my privacy fence I just installed is leaning badly & missing 3 panels. Other than that it's all good here. Just south of here got it really bad with the ice.

Well we had the storm and the only mishap was to my plow truck....

My 78 Bronco is running headers...... lost the passenger side pipe right at the collector and since I was in the middle of plowing it wrapped the pip us very nicely...... pretzels shaped like my pip get rejected at the factory.... the muffler made it but not much else.

Oh well.....

All is well here, the drive is clear, the bird feeders are all full and it is gonna be a very white Christmas!

My only problem that was after way too much holiday cheer on Sat night at the neighbors house I was too hung over to shovel the 2"-3" of snow on the ground Sunday afternoon. Then it rained for about 3 hours and then it all froze over. I'm still chiseling my drive way ....and being that it has a decent slope and you have to walk up it to get to the front door it pretty much made it impossible to get out of my house Monday and yesterday without nearly killing myself.

Of course everyone is sold out of salt as well....I usually torture myself like this every few years ...just long enough to forget how bad it can be if the conditions are right.

When they run out of the sidewalk salt just use some mortons blue bags of water softener salt. Its crushed and animal safe.
