Evi powerhead year? frost plug # any good?

I have what was told to me to be a 1995 115 Evinrude crossflow powerhead. The fost plug # is 0484271. Is there anyway to find out what model and year?

With serial # you can find out.

Dan, Make sure the O is not a G. If a G it is 1997. If it is a D then it would be a 1994.<br />Bob

OK N40, armed with that info it still looks like "0". On the flat of the block there are #'s stamped in. 186138 17BW 1. Do these help?

Man I'm sorry. I read right over the Evinrude. Info I gave was for Mercury.

the number on the plug is a serial number. a quick call to any omc dealer will clear it up.
