RECENTLY REPLACED AND INSTALLED NEW HEAD GASKETS, PLUGS, COILS. NOW NOT RECEIVING ANY FIRE ON THE PORT SIDE. COULD IT POSSIBLY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE POWER PACK OR STATOR, OR BOTH? IF SO REPLACE BOTH, ARE MAYBE STATOR,ARE THE POWER PACK, ANY ONE OUT THERE EVER HAVE THIS PROBLEM? ALSO IF IT WERE THE POWER PACK WOULDN'T IT QUIT COMPLETELY? IM RUNNING OUT OF RESOURCES CHECKED ALL THE WIRES AND THERE FINE. THE PORT SIDE IS GETTING COMPRESSION. NO FIRE. ;)

Please stop shouting at us.
(All CAPS. Is considered yelling).

If you look in your manual under “Electrical”, there is an easy to follow troubleshooting guide to determine whether it is the power pack, stator, or charge coils.

If you don’t have a manual then get one. It will quickly become your best friend. This web site has the manual available for your motor.

I had the same problem on an 89 OMC I used to have. It turned out to be the trigger (timer base). Of course that was my problem, may not be yours.
