I have a 1989 evenrude 110 that will not start. It will fire and try, all cylinders fire as do the plugs, its a gas problem, even hooking a portable tank seperate from the inboard tank. I have cleaned the plugs, tried to put gas in each cylinder, it really tries to fire but will not start. When i take the plugs out, the right side (drivers side) plugs always feel dry while the other side are wet. Any ideas ?

Take the plugs out and have someone turn the motor over, or do it your self at the motor by using a jumper on the solenoid.
You should see a fine mist of fuel shoot out of every cylinder as the engine turns over.
Keep your safety line pulled out so that the there will be no fire from the plugs while you do this test.

Also plugs cant be wet if you are getting proper spark unless they are wet with water??

I wish there was a form that every poster of a problem had to fill out to post in here.
It would save everyone a lot of time and typing. :)

Is this motor new to you or have you owned it since it was new? i.e. how much history do you have and has it ever run OK for YOU?
Have you read any of the troubleshooting steps in the "Secret files"? Do you have adequate compression ? Have you even tested that?
