Evinrude 130 hp

I just purchased 130 hp evinrude dont know year mod no is e130txaop ser no is go3923875 .problem is it idles great abot 1000 rpm ,when i try to give it a little throttle ,it cuts out ,you can see fuel filter going dry when applying throttle ,is this a fuel pump proplem thanks

Check to make sure your fuel tank vent is working. Also check for air leaking into the fuel hose connections, and checking the fuel pick up tube for cracks or plugged screen. If you can pump the bulb and everything works right then it is probably your fuel pump.

Yes as long i squeeze the engine runs,when it is running i can see the fuel pump filter going empty
