It's about time that "Lady Luck" smiled on someone! :)

Thanks to you Joe!

You have helped so many on this forum, huge credit to you.

I have one last question regarding the controller, it is very responsive. Too much so that you move it 15mm and it will over rev/speed. Id like to decrease this so it's more of a smooth transition. It is simple as the cable tension at the engine or a tension screw at the control?

It quite dangerous where in reverse snapping it into gear quickly and result in over revs.

Other than that problem free.

Cheers,
Riley

Normally that is caused by having one cable adjusted so tightly that it is creating tension against the other cable... usually by by someone increasing the adjustment of the idle stop screw beyond the throttle trunion adjustment. (Too Tight!)

However, having retired in 1991, the design and circuitry of your 1998 engine would be somewhat foreign to me and I pass on that problem to the other members whose knowledge of your engine would surpass me.

Thanks Joe!

I will look into this and let you know. The cables were feeling tight for sure, a slight move and she surges up. Crunched a couple time going reverse also from it.

Needs DS a little fine tuning non the less.
