I have a 1980 evinrude 150 with the model number E150TRLCSR. My manual addresses the E150TRLCS, but does not tell me what the R means. I have checked to Bombardier site and it to does not say anything about what the R stands for. Any ideas??
THE "R" MAY NOT STAND FOR ANYTHING IN PARTICULAR OR ATLEAST ANYTHING THAT WOULD MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU . IT IS USED TO DESIGNATE THE MODEL RUN OR SUFFIX.FOR WHEN THE ENGINE WAS BUILT AND TO DENOTE ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE ENGINE DURING THE PRODUCTION RUN. IT DOE'S NOT STAND FOR ROPE START.
