I recently acquired a boat powered by an Evinrude 150 "Spitfire" series engine. When pumping the fuel prime bulb, gas starts leaking from the side of one carburetor (top on right bank). The gas comes from what appear to be fillers in the casting on the side of the carburetor, an odd place to see fuel weeping out. I have photos if that would help.

This apparently continues after the engine runs, too, because I noticed a sheen on the water when I stopped the engine. (I don't want the Coast Guard to cite me for an oil slick!)

So, does this mean a carb rebuild? If it does, how does one go about resetting it with six of those babies working together?

Thanks for the help!
