I have a 1990 Stratos with an Evinrude 150 XP. It is very hard to steer. I disconnected the steering arm at the motor and the motor turns freely. I need to replace the steering cables (dual cable system). I understand that you have to lift the motor to get them out. Where do I attach the hoist chains to the engine? Do I need to remove the steering rack to replace the cables. Thanks!
