evinrude 150 tilt trim

Hi , have evinrude 1985 150 hp that wont lift or trim motor. Guessing its out of fluid. how does one put fluid into the unit?

if stuck down there is a manual release valve (#66) that can be opened by a screwdriver on the starboard side of the unit. this will enable you to lift up the motor and apply the trailer bracket.Then on the fluid reservoir (#63) there is a flat head screw (#30) remove this and top up with t&t fluid. put back in the screw and move the motor up and down a few times to get rid of any air in the system , open up the screw and top off with fluid again.
