Can't help you on the parts but can tell you that it is not difficult to do if you have the manual - you may have to disassemble the gearcase to swap the driveshaft.

It's very easy. Done it with several 35's and 40's.<br /><br />The old driveshaft just pulls out of the gearcase. Everything new slides or bolts into place.<br /><br />You can cannibalize the parts from a junk longshaft. Check eBay for avaliable prospects.
