Evinrude 18hp fuel pump problems

From what I've been able to tell, my motor is a 70' 18hp evinrude w/ elect. start. When I pump the fuel line ball gas squirts out from the fuel pump...obviously why it will not idle for me. Problem is no one seems to carry a replacement pump. The number on mine is 314249. Does anyone know of a replacement part? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why not get a repair kit here at iboats?

you can go to your J/E dealer and get the screen cap gasket for under $4.00, if that is where it is leaking

A repair kit would be great, problem is there doesn't seem to be one for this model of fuel pump.
