Hi all,
I am actualy starting rebuilting the motor and i would like to know if the crank pulley on top of the fly weel is original or not?
Here is a picture of it.

No, the pulley on your motor is not original. it should be a light weight aluminum casting that fastens on with 4 screws.

Yes thanks..
It was maybe a motor that was been modified from the normal crank start to a cord start.
Do you know how can i fix the coil for it?

The coils can be rewound if you can find someone skilled enough to do it. Magnetoparts.com may be able to.

Im assuming your secondary is shot?

Can also try email Doug Penn, google him. He helps alot of us out with the older coils.

May also be able to modify it with a newer coil. Can you post a pic of the coil you have?

Finally took off the flywheel and realized there is no coil under it :O
I will be obligated to run it on batteries...
Do you know where can i buy them?

I would email Doug Penn as stated and ask him for a hot mag plate. It will come ready to go.

Sorry just meant a plate with a good coil on it that will fire (hot).

I used to work on those Hus-Ski's. They would go any place where the Ski-Doos got bogged down. Good old machine.

You could modify the coil with the new Universal Coil on the original lamination. Did you try Doug Penn??

google dough penn ( dough penn.itgo.com) he has everything you need for your motor. (everthing!! He is very reasonable & a joy to deal with.

I found this diagram on internet, do you think it could work on my motor?

Yes, using your existing points, a buzz-box set-up would work fine. I was running a battery ignition motor just the other day, a 1928 Elto Quad!
