Yep your right. I did not get the boat uncovered until two weeks ago and missed that point. I did pull the fuse and it looked o.k., just did not check inside the holder.

Update, I put the PDP panel back in, hooked up a new tach with the systems check built into it, cleaned all ground connections, and cleaned the main fuse holder. Looking closely at the main fuse holder, it appeared that one side of the holder was spread a bit wider then the other, I pinched it down a bit more after cleaning the contact surfaces with some 600 grit sand paper. Pulled the key switch and ran a full check on it, all checked out. Put it back in and the engine fired up fine. I did notice when turning the key on and off (run and off, not starting) that once it went through the system check twice, like I turned it on and off, so the key switch may be going on it. Going to order a replacement today.

If I run into any more issues and find the solution I will post up again just for anyone else searching on this issue.

Adding back to this post for anyone searching on it in the future. I have had no issues since cleaning and pinching down the fuse holder. Last week I had the cover off and did a test, if you pull the main fuse the tilt and trim still work. I am very happy it was something real easy.

And I did replace the key switch, it was getting a bit worn out.
