Evinrude 2000mdl 50hp SLOW maybe?

Just take out the switch and see if it moves freely, maybe lubricate it while in place and retest. Someone also needs to look in the manual and see if 22 and 32 set slow mode or safe mode or whatever they called it that year. I am away from my manuals.

As far as I know the 4sds software is dealer only.

Really appreciate all the help so far, Can anyone tell me if the fact that the flashing codes are coming up on the gauge that this will automatically put the engine in SLOW mode?,If so do they need to be cleared in someway if the switches/sensors are fixed?, Thanks

Hi, Not sure if I am allowed to bump this up the top?, Still seeking help, I have no dealers anywhere close. I am just trying to find out if I need to clear these codes before the engine will run properly. Thanks very much for any help

Codes from gauge on dash are as mentioned, engine starts and runs but at exactly 3000rpm it hits what appears to be a rev limiter.
