need help on where to connect bootstrap cable because it will fit either the key switch connector or engine monitor connector.

in the world of post FICHT now ETEC the "boot strap" cable is associated with firmware/software upgrades a process which can lobotomize the ECU if not done properly.

Are you planning to simply use the EV diagnostics to service your engine or do you have critical brain surgery in sight for your FICHT ??

although the ETEC owners site does not provide support on FICHT issues the SEARCH utility on BOOTSTRAP provides lots of insight on the subject ...
