I also had to turn the idle setting up ridicuously high to keep it going when in neutral. It would then only run at anything approaching smoothly on three quarter or greater throttle, anything less required me choke it again while running. I've checked the plugs and fuel mix setting and they seem OK.
When I checked the pluge they seemed oily.
The engine was flly serviced last October.
Please help
thanks
Jeremy Airey

Sounds like gummed low speed jet, Jeremy.

1. Get a manual.
2. Get a carb overhaul kit.
3. Overhaul the carb, with particular attention to the low speed circuit and the tiny jet orifice in the throat of the carb.

Good luck. :)
