Evinrude 40 VRO Question

Hi,
I have a 1990 Evinrude 40 Horse 2 stroke outboard and the fuel pump side of the VRO quit working can I convert it over to a regular old style fuel pump and if so how, what part number Seirra pump do I need and what other parts will I need to buy? also what do I have to do??. The VRO is plugged and disconected now I just premix my gas. Model number E40TTLESR Thank You for you help.
