Evinrude 48 with gas assist and want to make it power trim??

Hi guy looking for some help I got a evinrude 48 sp with gas assist and would like to make it power trim want would I all need ? I no I need the power trim but can I take the gas assist out and buy a power trim and put it in or is there more to it? Thanks

When getting the tilt/trim unit, be sure you get the relay box and harness as well.

Thanks do I have to find a power trim from the same size motor ? Or will any size motor power trim work. Thanks

You need a trim unit from 'same size', means 40-50 Hp range.
