Evinrude 50hp E50DTLEUR specs..

I am looking at this motor tommorrow it is a 97 or 99, but was wondering how much it weighed? I have a 78 35hp evinrude, and was just wondering how much more it weighed.. What kind of controls do I need to get for it? I assume the ones I have on my boat now would not work, since I think the 50hp has power tilt- trim.. Thanks..

it is a 1997 you need the new control harness with the multiple plugs, or the pig tail adapter, or a new complete set of controls, the harnesses changed in 1996.

Out of curiousity, what would the weight be on a late 60's 40hp evinrude?
