Hi guys, I am looking for some help finding the model number of an outboard that I need some parts for but the model number has worn off and not visible anymore. The serial number on the freeze plug is G3838093 so I'm wondering if that can help? It's believed to be a 1993 50HP but would like to confirm the model number, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have attached a few pics and it is the carbs I am looking for because the company I contacted said they needed the model number to make sure.

Based on the cowling it appears to be a 96 / 97 model.------The 93 in the serial # means nothing.----And I have no idea why you would need replacement carburetors.-----Not much goes wrong with them !-----What is your motor doing / not doing ?----What trouble shooting have you done if any ?

Hey, its actually for my uncle and he seems to think it has 70HP carbs as it uses a lot of fuel according to him. Lately is has developed a miss under throttle once pass 1/2 way and he's asked me to lookup a set of carbs for it. That's why Iv'e been trying to find the model number to make sure I get the right parts. Maybe someone re-jetted the carbs before him who knows.

Thanks
