My dashboard tach worked monetarily when I started up the engine this summer. The needle climbed to 1,000 rpm and then dropped. The engine seems to have lost a bit of its power but that could just be my perception.
It hasn?t moved yet. I check all the wiring and it seems fine. The signal from the motor is working but seems low, I measured about 2 or 3 volts at about 1,000 rpm. The sign comes from the yellow-gray lead off of the stator. Does that seem like the right voltage?
