I just head to my Johnson/Evenrude dealer & ask the guy at the parts counter(I like to keep OEM parts in my engine>>>sorry Iboats).<br /><br />Order the Manual here at IBOATS.

i was going to take the boat to the lake today to try it out. Before i left i was going to warm engine of hose but i could not get engine to start. I didnt try to sart with choke on and then i tried wiht choke on. Can you flood one of these engines. Also i am going to buy new sparks plugs. What size or type of sparks plugs does it use and what is the proper gap?<br />thanks<br />brad

My book says your engine takes CHAMPION L77J4 plugs, gapped at 0.040".<br />Its really time to get an engine manual before working on it>>> <br />Good luck

thanks for all your help. i ordered the manual and its on its way. the spark plugs i have in there are not right. hopefully that will help. i cant wait to take the boat out tomorow.<br /><br />thanks again<br />brad
