Enginge done this twice last year and cleared it self. Engine has always been in salt water.
This season i cant get her to go above 3000 RMP before the alarm and cuts the engine. If i wait a couple of mins it starts again but wont go above 3000 RMP without cutting out.
FACTS
The engine is not overheating.
It is pumping plenty water.
There are NO Faults when the diagnostic is plugged in.
Could this just be a faulty sensor ?
If it is where is it located ?
Can i just bypass it ?
If i bypass it will the engine run or cutout.?
