It seems as though this motor runs on three cylinders until its warm...then the fourth kicks in and is fine for the day. I've replaced plugs, wires, and coils. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

It's possible that the primer line for that cyl is plugged.

Or that cyl is running lean.

TMD

Thanks Captain. I did some probing around. ON a hunch , I brought a timing light with me and made a discovery. The top left cylinder ( looking from the back) isn't getting spark. After about 10 minutes of warming up, she sparks intermittently (you can hear the engine catching during this), then after a couple more minutes, she's running normal. Do you think maybe there's a ground problem that makes contact after the heat expands?

Try swapping coils and see if problem moves to another cylinder.

I will give that a try. I've had problems with coils in the past and replaced all four this spring. Will advise. Thanks.
