Evinrude 9.9/15 throttle blocked from full opening.

I went out and checked my '91, and the roller appears to rest almost exactly where yours does on the black cam, with the throttle fully open. So we could both have it wrong, of course, but think not. If your throttle is fully open and the carb is open, seems fine. I have an '83 and an '84, along with the '91 and have been playing with them this summer. I didn't change out any carbs, but had a little education on them along the way. They seem to work fine -- 15 hp carb bodies (apparently) on the Yachtwins idle down well. I can't verify which jets are in there, but presume the midsize jets that OMC used for them, according to what I've seen.

Anyway, been interesting. Don't think you need anything -- certainly no surgery. Would like to hear about operation when you fire it up.
