Evinrude 9.9 4 Stroke Shaft Length

I have a 1999 Evinrude 9.9 4 Stroke with a 25" shaft. How difficult is it to make it a 15" shaft?. It already has the 10" shaft extension bolted on.

you will need to replace drive shaft & shift shaft.i'm not positive but i think the water tube will be ok.
