My main problem is no spark on my 1989 9.9 sailmaster with electric start. I've tested the kill switch-ok, Ive tested the charge coil-ok, I've tested the ignition coil and found #1 242.9 where the manual states 250-300 and #2 at 240.5. Are these numbers to low to produce a spark. I suspect the power pack is bad as I see metal through the plastic case from rubbing on the inside of the fly wheel. If I replace the power pack should I replace the ignition coil becouse of the low reading. Any help Please.

Shawn
