Stumbled onto the site a couple of days ago. Lucky me!!!
I have acquired an Evinrude Angler 5HP outboard motor (model 5702-E05064). My research says it's a 1967. In searching for a parts breakdown, I can only find one that goes back to 1968.
My motor has been modified to use remote steering and throttle, so there are some parts missing. So here comes the question.
Are the parts from the 68 interchangable with the 67? I am going to need the steering handle (complete), choke knob and fuel inlet. After I make sure it will run, which I hope to get done today.
Thanks,
Terry
