**Evinrude Aquasonic fastwin?**

What is the hp of this model and what sparkplugs does it use? i also need to know what the prop should be. Got this from an neighbor for free and i want to try to get it running. I was told he got it from a guy that said it ran. I blew my 40hp lark over the weekend. it blew a plug completely out of the head, Thread and all, then i had to use all my force to get it out of forward gear. I think its done. Anyway, any and all information about the aquasonic is greatly appreciated. Thanks again iboat forum users!

It's a 15hp motor, uses J4C or J6C champion plugs. The prop I can't remember. Just check with michigan wheel or laingsoutboards.com.
It's a good motor, you'll like it. You should check the "top secret files" thread a the top of this forum, particularly the points and coils thread and the carb. settings, which it will almost certainly need. Did you get a pressure tank with it? You can still get 2-line hose and tank rebuild kits, or you can convert it to a fuel pump.
