Bought a 1975 Merc 7.5 today, and the guy threw in what I believe is a 1954 Evinrude Aquasonic 7.5 hp for free. The serial # is 7514-10092. Can anyone confirm the yr and hp for me. Turns over good, feels like it has real good compression.

That is correct, 7514 is the model number and it is a 1954 7-1/2hp
