Working on a trolling motor for my buddy. His son in law hooked up batteries and blew a fuse. I have traced the wires and know that all the wiring on the boat is fine. If switch is in 24 volt position the motor works fine. If it is switched to the 12 volt position it blows a fuse and indicates a short. How do I isolate this to either the 12/24 switch, speed control, or the motor itself? Other than old and dirty all the wiring looks fine.
