Evinrude big twin stop switch

Hi Chaps!<br />Can anyone tell me what or where the stop switch (on the front of the engine) wires are connected to?. I damned if I can see any connections that they could possibly go to!.<br /><br />Thanks and best wishes<br />Tich

Each should connect to the two regular wires that come from the armature plate. If there's only one, one should attach to it and the other to ground.<br />Those two wires go up to the points, so if you ground one out it'll short out the point, killing spark in it's cylinder. If you connect the two points together, you short them out through each other, and both sparks die.
