Evinrude Diagnostics Software - who is familier with it?

I need to back up a inop EMM and reload it onto another good used EMM. Anyone here played around with the software? I have a cable and the software. I have only used it to reset the breaking period to zero at the beginning of every season. I am unsure if I can do it but it looks like I should be able to.

What you want to do, you can't, due to EPA and the factory. The EMM has to be sent back to the factory and the info is transferred to either a new or rebuilt one and sent back to you. See your dealer for pricing.
