Evinrude- how old ??

Well I had good luck with my last question, after finding this site, I thought I would check on one more motor. My son has an old Evinrude that has been painted over the cover. He thinks it is a 25 hp. Ser # 25902D-E 09306.<br />If any one can help come up with some information on it, it would be great. Common spec's like plug, type and gap, fuel ratio and any thing that may be helpful. Thanks in advance !

The serial number is the first section of the number he stated.<br /><br />But I'm at work right now and can't help look it up.
