evinrude intruder 115

believe the year is 96, wondering what i can look for before buying. i dont have a way to compression test it, (and yes i realize thats a bad idea) the boat seems to be in overal great condition, and has been kept inside of a barn. thanks for any help

how long since they used it ,also will they start it .
me i wont buy a motor used without comp check,
and pulling plug on lower ,

yeah i would make sure it started and stuff, i just dont have access to a comp tester at this time. the boat is a 1996 and looks brand new.
