evinrude jet drive

hi all
in my search for a boat i came across a 17 ft 1998 NORTHSTAR ROGUE XL with a 115 hp Evinrude Inboard Jet drive (advertised as a fish/ski) . i have no experience with jet drives and their ability to be used for fishing ie. trolling. any input on pros and cons appreciated

jet are twice as gas hungry as a prop driven boat, and lowsy at trolling.

I've got a jet for my 115 but only for the rivers. I will be keeping the prop for lakes etc.
