I have a evinrude lark 35 horse the serila number is 35515-04366. should this have enough power to push a 14.5 foot close bow fiberglass boat. Would there be much diffference between it and a 40 hp in the late 60 or early 70s How do I know the year of this one

That engine has plenty of power for any 14' boat.<br /><br />Not a lot of noticable difference with the early 70's 40hp engines.<br /><br />Yours is a 1959 model.
