i know this is a dumb question, but do outboards have any type of motor mount or something for vibration. i grabbed the head of my 115 evinrude and twisted it back and forth and it seems kinda loose. theres no metalic sound but there seems to be something made of rubber under the powerhead. again thanks ahead of time.

They don't normally need replacing. What they're for basically is to isolate viberation. If the engine's not clunkin' around and acting all squirrely, I wouldn't worry about 'um.

c/6

Hooty
