Evinrude lower unit

Hi there, I have an 1986 Evinrude 90hp, I want to change the impeller but for some reason lower unit will not come off, Lower unit is complete lose with the exception of the gear rod, I did remove the pin, put in on reverse and still will not come off, Please I will appreciated any help or advise on how to remove the lower unit. <br />Thank you

if you did disconect every thing, use a block of wood and beat it w/a hammer,carefully!has this sat long?
