I have an evinrude ocean pro 225hp. i am in desperate need of a manual. if any one can point me in the right direction that would be great..also any ideas why there would not be a spark at the plugs. i do not know the year of make so if some one knows that then it would be brill. basically any info on this engine would be good<br />model number taken from leg<br />BE225TXEDE<br />G04082893<br />SERIAL No 95

Welcome to iboats TUG.<br /><br />From the model number, you have an Evinrude and the year is 96'. You can get a generic manual from iboats (see the bottom of the page) or check the links below.<br /><br /> http://ww3.kencook.com/evinrudejohnsonmanuals/ <br /><br /><br /> http://www.marineengine.com/manuals/evinrude/order_pre-1980.html <br /><br />No spark is a common problem with engines and can be caused by a power pack that has gone south, a bad stator, or a faulty igniton system or key switch. Just have to trouble shoot to find the bad component.<br /><br />Have any questions or need help, just post.
